Along with midlife and menopause, a change in hair growth creeps up on you as you get older and all too soon you become aware of unwanted excess hair.
It happened to me on a trip to Dubai. It was the first time I had used a powerful, illuminated magnifying mirror and I was horrified. Unknown to me, I had grown a layer of downy hair along my cheeks and upper lip. I returned to London and started to research methods of safe hair removal. They were expensive and time consuming and I would have to visit a clinic regularly before I saw any results. I decided to wax my upper lip and ignore my cheeks.

Before you start to use the device, plug it into the mains, there’s a two and three pin plug provided. For safety, you need to hold down the on/off button for a couple of seconds while the device fires up. This prevents any small hands being able to switch it on. Keep in mind that you only have 20-30% of visible hair at any one time. Hair grows in cycles, so you need to be patient and carry out the treatment weekly over several hair cycles to see permanent hair reduction. Once you have removed the unwanted hair, you can use the Laser one a month for maintenance.
In addition to removing unwanted hair, the Laser has a dual purpose, it can rejuvenate the skin and help to reduce pigmentation marks and age spots. The small amount of trauma created by light penetrating the epidermis can help increase collagen and elastin production and improve the overall quality of the skin.
