Should I use a specific SPF product or will a product with SPF in it be just as good?

There is a huge difference in quality in sunscreens. Sunscreens are either chemical, physical or combined chemical and physical. The chemical sunscreens are absorbed into the cells and the physical sunscreens reflect the UV rays off the surface of the skin.  SPF (sun protection factor) indicates how long you can stay in the sun before you burn. If you usually burn after 2 minutes, SPF 15 will protect you for 30 minutes etc.  Most Doctors/Dermatologists recommend a broad-spectrum SPF 30 to be applied daily but a good quality SPF 15 sunscreen with the proper ingredients can still be an excellent sunscreen; it would just need to be re-applied more frequently.
