This month’s video is shot on location in Nikki’s home.  This was the only way of pinning her down to record our regular chat about the beauty products we have been using and buying.

The Body Shop

This year The Body Shop have the most thought-provoking gifts which encourage you to Play for Peace.  Sales from the Robot will help children affected by war to play in a safe place for a year.  As well as being packed with Body Shop toiletries, the Robot also encourages you to save and donate to a great cause.  It was love at first sight when Nikki spotted the Robot!
Values Gift Robot Money Box £20.00 available from The Body Shop

su:m37

I’m fascinated by Korean skincare and their ingredients.  I bought su:37 Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick a few months ago and absolutely love using it. Created with fermented rose petals and fruit extracts, this 90% natural Cleansing Stick leaves skin at the correct PH after cleansing.
su:m37 Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick 80g £16.93 available from YesStyle and at a slightly higher price (£19.84) from iHerb

American English Luxury Vegan Haircare

If you have been looking for a luxury vegan haircare range, look no further.  Created with sustainably-sourced ingredients, free from parabens and sulphates, these products are enriched with vitamins A, C and E and omega 3,6,7 and 9.  Designed to repair damage, strengthen and add shine.
Youth Repair Vegan Shampoo 250ml £23.00
Youth Repair Vegan Conditioner 250ml £25.00
24 Karat Thickening Lotion 120ml £25.00
Seaberry Dry Oil – 125ml £25.00

Green People

This year Green People have been celebrating their 20th anniversary.  In celebration they launched a Damask Rose Collection earlier in the year and have just added the Special Edition Damask Rose Facial Oil to it. This 99% organic oil is an absolute joy to use.  Everything from the fragrance to the texture is perfectly balanced.  The blend of thistle seed, sweet almond, jojoba, avocado and rosehip oils blended with Bulgarian Rose Otto.  This oil lifts the spirits as well as firms the skin, improves the texture and increases hydration.
Damask Rose Facial Oil 30ml £29.00 available from Green People

True Grace

Nikki is probably keeping the candle industry going!  The Library Classic Candle from Ture Grace is a smoky blend of cedar and sandalwood with a little birch tar amber and moss.  It’s created using natural wax, presented in a softly smoked glass and should burn for 40 hours.
Library Classic Candle £35.00 available from True Grace

Ashleigh & Burwood

The Wild Things Collection are more of an art collection than a range of candles.  Nikki chose Sir Hoppingsworth – Cognac and Leather.  This refined fragrance is a reminder of cognac splashing into a glass, rich leather chairs and wood panelled walls.
Sir Hoppingsworth – Wild Things £38.00 55 hours burn available from Ashleigh & Burwood

Charles Farris

Grand Cascade is inspired by aged leather and wood smoke scents.  Smoky cedar, moss, amber, leather and birch combine in this hand poured candle.
Grand Cascade 45 hours burn £16.00 available from John Lewis

Murad

Murad bring the salon into the home with their Hydro-Glow Aqua Peel.  This exfoliating peel comes as a 2-stage treatment.  Stage-one is a large swap impregnated with lactic and glycolic acid, and botanical extracts to break down the dead skin and retexturize the complexion.  Stage -two is a sheet mask infused with aloe extract, vitamin B3, and hyaluronic acid to boost hydration.  The overall effect of the Aqua Peel is smoother, plumper skin which shows less lines and wrinkles, and has bright glowing appearance.
Hydro-Glow Aqua Peel 4 Sachets £40.00 available from John Lewis

Katherine Daniels

When I first saw the Instant Effect Eye Mask’s I honestly couldn’t believe that the fluid would travel straight to the eye pads without bursting!  But it does!  Forget the novelty value, these eye masks are formulated with salon grade ingredients including sea kelp, a mineral complex and hyaluronic acid.  The instant effect is smoother, plumper and brighter skin around the eyes.
Instant Effect Eye Mask 4 Sachets £58.00 available from Katherine Daniels

Nanshy

The Nanshy Necessities Collection has just won the Best New Face Product in the Beauty Awards with OK Magazine!  As a judge, I couldn’t speak about this Collection until the awards were announced this week.  The Necessities Collection is a worthy winner.  The softest vegan bristles and beechwood handles are a joy to use.  Perfectly weighted, they are comfortable to use and wash and dry perfectly.  The set of 9 brushes come in a gorgeous faux-leather cosmetic case.
Necessities Collection £69.95 available from Nanshy
