This month I’m delighted that Nikki is back in front of the camera with me and she has a theme this month – Korean skincare. Far Eastern skincare is something Nikki has been researching for some time and this video includes some of her finds. It’s often hard to track down these products so you might have to check back into Amazon and TK Maxx to find them in the future. I have put as many links below as possible.
So, this month we kick off with Elizavecca Milkypiggy Gold Kangsi Pack, a gold face mask which turns white as it dries. From the same brand Nikki explains about the Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask which literally bubbles on your face leaving it clean and clear.
Alpha H Liquid Gold is always in my bathroom cupboard. This glycolic acid treatment toner swiftly and gently exfoliates the skin, resurfacing and clearing the skin like an overnight facial. The new addition to the Alpha H family is the Liquid Gold Rose. Rose, sacred lotus and orchid petal has been combined with glycolic acid making it soothing and moisture boosting even for sensitive skin. This product has just been launched; it’s a limited edition and should be available online soon.
Elizavecca Bifida 100% Serum and Benton Fermentation Essence both contain fermented ingredients which are beneficial to the skin. Fermented foods are hugely popular in the Far East and are definitely becoming more popular in the UK, I am sure we will see more skincare containing these ingredients in the future.
SkinCeuticals has recently launched HA Intensifier, a serum which not only helps skin to maintain hyaluronic acid but also encourages it to make more. This helps to keep skin plump and more youthful. It is expensive but you really use a tiny amount morning and night and I have definitely seen an improvement in my skin since I started using it.
Benton Fermentation Eye Cream is another product with fermented ingredients. This product is a whopping 30g tube at a very reasonable price. I am sure Nikki just likes saying ‘Elizavecca Donkey Steam Moisture Milky Cream’ but as well as sounding fun, the cream has a gorgeous texture to keep skin hydrated and smooth.
Finding a product which manages to keep my hair under control without weighing it down can be a challenge. Ogario London Styling Mist for Natural Hold and Glossy Finish to the rescue! This gorgeous smelling light mist has become a firm favourite; I have even had people ask what has made my hair so glossy!

Etude House Black Tea Bubble Tea Sleeping Pack, cute packaging aside, this product rejuvenates the skin overnight and the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask does the same for the lips. We may not look fabulous when we go to bed but we look much better when we get up!
Talking of sleep, Kiss the Moon products have been formulated with ingredients which help you get a good night’s sleep. I’ve been testing the Love Night Cream for Hands and I ‘love’, pardon the pun, it so much that I have almost used the whole jar. Formulated with rose, frankincense, almond oil, jojoba seed oil and shea butter to name a few of the ingredients, this hand cream really does rejuvenate hands overnight. It sinks in easily and nourishes hands while you sleep. The deeply relaxing aroma is a joy to go to sleep with!
