The skincare patches that took the U.S. by storm are now available at Boots

Creating clever solutions to skin problems has always been at the core of Peace Out Skincare. When Peace Out Founder, Enrico Frezza, was searching for products to treat his sensitive, acne prone skin, he discovered hydrocolloid dressing. This biodegradable, flesh coloured material was normally used medically to heal wounds. After much experimentation, Enrico developed a solution for his acne that didn’t irritate his sensitive skin.

Having worked out a way to treat acne, Enrico then had to find, and convince, a lab to create the first ever hydrocolloid acne dot, infused with active ingredients. Persistence paid off and in 2017 Peace Out Acne was launched and recruited into an exclusive partnership with Sephora U.S.

Peace Out Acne took off and immediately became the leader in patch technology. Enrico continued to use this technology in a range of results driven, targeted, fast acting, one-step skincare solutions.

Peace Out Skincare – targeted skincare solutions

While acne may not be your first skin concern, I bet that puffy eyes, dull skin or wrinkles might be. As I get older, I am constantly looking for a quick fix to these problems and that’s exactly what Peace Out deliver.

I put four products from the Peace Out range to the test

Peace Out Wrinkles

Using innovative dissolving microneedling, Peace Out Wrinkle patches are infused with retinol, peptides and vitamin C to smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Working from home gives us the ideal opportunity to pop these patches onto freshly cleansed skin, where 450 microneedles allow direct absorption of the ingredients into the skin. Expect firmer, plumper skin. Experiment on crow’s feet, elevens and laughter lines. Alternatively, wear the Peace Out Wrinkle patches to bed twice a week for at least two consecutive weeks, for smoother-looking skin.

The patches are a little prickly when you first apply them, but they feel comfortable to wear and perfect to use at home during the day or at night. The deep 1 between my eyebrows definitely looks softer, smoother and less noticeable, after only two uses. I’m looking forward to seeing the results after 6 applications.

Peace Out Puffy Eyes

These biocellulose under eye patches are perfect to rejuvenate and revive tired looking eyes. Created with caffeine, niacinamide and hyaluronic acid to smooth and hydrate the delicate under eye area, making it look fresher and more radiant.

Although I don’t suffer with puffy eyes, I have permanent dark circles. Regardless of early nights, lots of water and great eye creams, my eyes are always dark. After 15 minutes of wearing the Peace Out Puffy Eyes patches, not only does the skin under my eyes look so much smoother, they also don’t look as dark.

Use after cleansing, making sure the patches fit comfortably under the eyes. Remove after 15 minutes and gently pat in any additional serum. Pop them into the fridge in the summer for a cooling and relaxing eye treatment.

Peace Out Dullness

These fast-acting pads are formulated with a 7 acid brightening complex made up of 10% AHA, 0.4% BHA and 2% PHA and a deeply hydrating plankton extract and antioxidant fruit extract. They brighten the skin, smooth it and create a more even texture. The pads even help unclog pores and decongest the skin.

I’m all for getting skin cells to turn over faster and a multi-acid complex is perfect for gently coaxing the skin to behave in the way it did when you were younger. This combination of glycolic, citric, tartaric, malic and lactic acids (AHA’s), combined with salicylic acid (BHA) and gluconolactone (PHA) when used twice a week refresh the skin, giving it back a youthful glow.

Sweep the cotton side of the pad over a cleansed face, neck and décolleté, and then switch to the yellow mesh side. Allow the solution to dry and then apply SPF if it’s the daytime and moisturiser if it’s the evening. Don’t miss out the SPF as you want to protect that lovely new later of skin you’ve created. Expect your skin to tingle, that’s just the acid working. If your skin is very sensitive, rinse 20 minutes after application.

Peace Out Retinol Eye Stick

This really is a new delivery system to me. A serum-balm packed with encapsulated retinol, a powerful peptide complex, squalane and astaxanthin, in a handy bullet. I really do love an eye treatment and this stick helps reduce fine lines, smooths the texture of the under eye area and helps firm the skin, while keeping it hydrated. What more could you want from an eye product?

This simple delivery system works perfectly to gently sweep the balm around the eye contour. Use at night at the same time as your other retinol products. Perfect to use around the mouth if you are seeing fine lines appearing and also across the eye lids to prevent creepiness.
