Bring out your inner child and bounce your way to fitness!

Researchers at Montreal’s Concordia University have found that passion is the most important motivator for older people to exercise.  Rather than counting the calories people are looking to feel toned and fit and the exercise route they take to achieve this needs to be fun and stimulating.  If you see exercise as a necessary evil maybe it’s time to embrace your inner child and revisit exercise as we did when we were younger.  Rebounding can give you a fit toned healthy body without leaving the house.

Rebounding has many proven health benefits, as well as burning calories it stimulates lymphatic drainage, improves the immune system, improves posture and can help reduce body fat.

Every cell in the body is worked when rebounding including your internal organs, muscles and skin, leading to benefits such as an increase in muscular strength and tone, strengthening pelvic floor and deep abdominal muscles as well as toning and tightening the skin.

Rebounding is well researched and is proven to deliver main health benefits including:

  • Aids lymphatic circulation
  • Improves immune system
  • Burns calories
  • Improves posture, balance and co-ordination
  • Increases muscular strength and muscle tone
  • Strengthens core muscles
  • Tones and tightens skin
  • Strengthens pelvic floor
  • Increases bone density, reducing risk of osteoporosis
  • Improves bladder control

Rebounding exercise is accomplished by jumping only a few inches off the surface of a rebounder which is a specially designed mini-trampoline, and is based around functional movement patterns that work all the muscles in the body.  Rebounding uses familiar aerobic movements, sports specific conditioning and core stabilization techniques.

Rebounding is the only form of exercise that utilizes gravity, acceleration and deceleration by working the vertical plane in order to gain health-related benefits.  A rebounder subjects the body to gravitational pulls ranging from 0 at the top of each bounce, up to 3.24 times the force of gravity at the bottom.  It’s this increase in G-force that makes rebounding so effective.

Maximus Life offers a full range of rebounders, training courses, DVD’s, CD’s and accessories, everything you need to get rebounding.
