Celebrity make-up artist Lisa Eldridge’s latest video tutorial ‘how to glow’ has created a storm by getting over 140,000 hits in a week

The YouTube video featuring the beautiful 64 year old model Yvonne Elise proves that less is more when it comes to make-up for mature skin.  Aimed at women over 50, the video takes the viewer step by step through the process of achieving a natural youthful complexion, covering blemishes and avoiding accentuating lines.

Using Bobbie Brown Moisturising Balm Lisa blends to even skin tone, cover age spots and creates a glow to the skin; she then uses Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in the corner of the eyes to blend away dark shadows.  Mauve cream shadow is applied around the eye socket to add definition; a cream blusher continues the dewy look and is applied on the apple of the check and blended into a soft sweep of colour.

Eyeliner is applied to the upper and lower lids, lashes are curled and a mascara to finish the effect.  Lisa suggests soft brows for mature women and carefully adds definition without harsh lines, lip liner and moisture rich sheer lip balm is applied, and the whole look finished with a sweep of matt bronzer for a fresh modern and age appropriate look.
