This month it’s been hard to pin Nikki down again, she’s been all over the country making sure that sales staff give us the service we expect and really know their stuff when it comes to the products they’re selling. If you have ever been ignored on the shop floor or spoken to an assistant who knows less about the product than you do, you know exactly what I’m talking about. Nikki is on a one woman mission to make sure this never happens on her watch!
It’s great to see that Aquis Hair Towels are now available in several different sizes, as well as a turban and also in different colours. If you haven’t tried one you’re in for a treat, they’re great if you want to naturally dry your hair and they really speed up a blow dry. I actually hate sunbathing, I don’t like the feeling of the sun burning my skin but I still want a bit of colour – I know catch 22. We are passionate about using a sunscreen every day and recently I’ve had a couple of people ask me about an inexpensive SPF product that they can use every day. It’s hard to beat the quality of Nurture products for excellent quality and great value for money. Studio 10 has recently extended their range of age defying cosmetics to include the 6-in-1 Perfect Lash Mascara. The dual ended wand has a flat brush and a fine comb, perfectly for tackling top and bottom lashes.

The Overnight Hair Repair is unusual because it’s water based and will leave your hair fortified, silky and smooth. It sounds perfect to use in conjunction with an Aquis Hair Towel!
I absolutely love a gadget and especially one that is designed to improve the quality of your skin and lessen lines and wrinkles. The Tria Age-Defying Eye Wrinkle Correcting Laser is my weapon of choice at the moment. I am part way through my first 8 week treatment and I am really enjoying using the laser. The fact that it’s dinky, sits easily into your hand and is simplicity itself to use, you also only need to treat the area around your eye for one minute every evening. This is a huge bonus, as the thought of sitting lasering your face for 20 minutes at the end of the day really isn’t appealing, most of the time I’m just too tired. Two minutes – even I can manage that!
